Dear Saint Hedwig family:
Easter gives us new life and a new beginning. Death, sin, and destruction are overcome by the suffering, death, and Resurrection of Jesus. There is new hope. No matter what happens we can start over again. All is not lost. God forgives our sins and makes good our mistakes. Sure, we fall and we fail, but there are always second chances. The Resurrection gives us the grace to start all over again. We celebrate Easter once a year, but every Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection. In fact, every day is a new beginning. Like you, I have had bad days, but the dawn of a new day brings a fresh start. I can leave the past behind and move forward with faith, hope and love.
With much love and care,
Fr. Quan Tran

Please prayerfully consider attending the Easter Vigil, 6:00 AM Sunrise, or 12:00 PM Masses
Due to increased attendance and limited seating, we strongly encourage parishioners to consider attending the 8:00 PM Saturday Easter Vigil, or the 6:00 AM Sunrise, or 12:00 PM Sunday Masses if possible. The 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Masses are expected to be the most highly attended, and seating will be very limited.
We especially and prayerfully invite you to attend the 8:00 PM Easter Vigil, the most sacred and ancient liturgy of the Church year. The Vigil begins with the blessing of the fire and candlelight procession, followed by readings that trace salvation history from the Old Testament to the proclamation of the Resurrection. On this holy night, we joyfully welcome new members into the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation and renew our own baptismal promises.
The Easter Vigil is the first Mass of Easter and the fullest celebration of the Paschal Mystery, as we rejoice in Christ’s victory of light over darkness and death. Please note that this is the only Mass featuring music by the St. Hedwig Adult Choir.
We look forward to celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord with you. Alleluia!
