Welcome to Faith Formation for Children (Ages 4–Grade 8)

(Formerly SRE)

All parents desire the best for their children. What greater gift can we give our family than the gift of a relationship with Jesus that leads us to a better life filled with more peace, understanding, forgiveness and love. Children are faced with challenges as they grow and move away from the sheltered world of the family. Always, God is there for us. This is why Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd, the Bread of Life, the One who draws children to Himself. Getting to know and to form a lasting relationship with this loving God is the goal of our Faith Formation classes.

Faith Formation Volunteers

We are always accepting adult and teen volunteers to help with Faith Formation and Confirmation programs. Volunteers are needed as teachers, aides, and office support. You don’t have to have a child in our program to volunteer. We do ask that you have a willingness to share your faith and an openness to where God may challenge you while you serve in His vineyard. Please prayerfully consider whether this ministry is right for you. Safe Environment training and a background check is required. To become a volunteer, please email: [email protected].

Registration for 2026 – 2027 is Now Open

In-person registration for Sunday School and ongoing Faith Formation will take place at the Faith Formation Office:

Sundays (by appointment): 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Monday–Thursday (walk-in): 12:00 PM–6:00 PM

On the following dates:

July 19–23, 2026
July 26–30, 2026
August 4–9, (by appointment only)

Sunday School (Ages 4 & 5)

Sessions take place on Sundays at 10:00 AM beginning on September 13, 2026. The calendar will be covered further at Parent Orientation Night.

Please return the completed registration forms to the Faith Formation Office on the dates noted above with the following:

Family Registration, Emergency, Student/Session Info., Fee Sheet.
Copies of Birth and Baptism Certificates
Tuition: $60.00 in Cash, Checks, or Card

Tuition will cover the 5 months of materials for this year.

To maintain our required teacher-to-student ratio and ensure a quality learning environment, we are only able to accommodate 20 children.

Sunday School Registration Form

Faith Formation (Grades 1-8)

First Holy Communion preparation (year 1 and 2)
On-going faith formation education in a classroom setting with teachers that are dedicated to guiding and nurturing their faith
Weekly Sessions; Tuesday or Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Fun off-campus retreat with family

Tuesday & Wednesday, September 15–16, 2026, at 5:30 PM: First Day of Sessions
