Updated Procedure
Dear St. Hedwig Parish,
Please be advised that St. Hedwig Church has updated its Mass Intention procedures, as of April 1, 2026:
- To request Mass intentions, please visit the Parish Office or call (562) 296-9000 (requests can no longer be made online).
- The Mass Intention calendar will be opened several months in advance, in 3-month increments.
- For example, as of April 1, 2026, the first available period for requests is August, September, and October 2026.
- On the 1st of each month, the next month in the cycle will open for requests.
- The suggested donation remains $20 per intention.
- Registered parishioners and staff may request up to 2 Mass intentions per 3-month period.
- Non-parishioners may request 1 Mass intention per 3-month period.
- The Parish Office will maintain a log of all individuals receiving Mass intentions to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
