Jack Morris Kennedy
Jack attended St. Hedwig Catholic School from Kindergarten to 8th grade. He grew up on the St. Hedwig baseball field following in the footsteps of his big brothers and was active in St. Hedwig Celtics flag football and basketball teams for 4 years. Jack attended Servite High School achieving a 4.0 GPA. He played football for 2 years, freshman and sophomore year. Golf became his passion and the focus of his high school career. He was on the golf team at Servite since freshman year and played recreationally as much as possible at Old Ranch with his father, brothers and good friends. He was always practicing and working on his game with a smile on his face. A family vacation was not complete without a round golf on the Kennedy’s many adventures.
Jack loved time spent with family and friends; poolside at the Kennedy home, countless adventures in Lake Arrowhead water skiing or playing lazy Rummikub games, and skiing the slopes in the winter time at Lake Tahoe with Max instructing both his brothers. Most importantly, time spent in Wesley’s hometown of Las Vegas where the family created so many happy memories.
It’s no secret that the Kennedy family are Raider Nation all the way and bleed Dodger Blue and Jack always represented.
Jack was the most big hearted, easy going, authentic boy which drew so many to him and is evident in the multitude of friends he always had around him. Always ready to tell a good story whether it was an adventure from a trip with his family or a simple, funny moment at school, Jack told it with laughter and joy in his voice and a twinkle in his eye.
Jack Kennedy is survived by his parents Wesley and Tim Kennedy, brothers Max and Adam, and Grandmother Linelle Kennedy as well as his pups Cali and Yogi. He was loved dearly by his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Jack was at his best surrounded by his loving family.
Jack will be met in heaven by his beloved
grandparents Vivienne and William “Wildcat” Morris, and Michael Kennedy.
